Katy Breyer lives with her father in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Why I chose the path of an author...

Actually, God chose the path and it started with my first (and only one so far) published novel entitled SINGING WINDS. It's a work of fiction very dear to my heart. I truly believe that this book is a gift from God. He has given me the talent to write, a gift in itself. Each time I sit at my computer, He puts words in my heart , allows them to flow through my fingers, and onto my computer keys. My prayer is that God will use my writing to bless others and draw readers to Him. When I submitted my manuscript to be published, I uttered a heart-felt prayer that if just one person is blessed by "our" book, then I'll be happy. The Lord has answered my prayer many times over.
