by Dan de Kock It's time to learn to live by faith in a certain God in uncertain times. Many have thought that having the right doctrine in our heads is all we need. Nothing could be further from the truth! Unless we know how to LIVE by faith daily, we will not be able to make it successfully when what we have relied on proves inadequate or fails. This book is about learning to live by faith as a lifestyle. It is about learning to live by faith as naturally as a fish lives in water. Jesus upholds everthing by His Word. He can surely uphold us through the worst storms. And through Him we have access to the Father who loves us, and for whom nothing is too hard. All that is required is our faith. That is what this book is all about. It's time to walk on water while growing in faith.
Dan was born in South Africa, and met his wife Jan in Pennsylvania. They lived in Canada for a few years, and then in New Zealand for 17 years where their two children were born. Dan worked in and taught Electronics until retiring in 2008. While he enjoyed teaching electronics, he has most enjoyed teaching Bible, which he has done for many years. He believes that the Christian life is not meant to be a spectator sport, but a wonderful adventure of faith, and that God loves to do extraordinary things through ordinary people. Dan and Jan are members of West Town Community Church in Evans, Geogia and live near their five grandchildren.
